Brooklyn Org Neighborhood Collective Impact Project Application Clinic - March 14
February 20, 2025

PA/PTAs can now partner on a neighborhood collective impact proposal! Brooklyn Org is now accepting proposals through their applications portal for Neighborhood Collective Impact projects that address trending neighborhood concerns and strengthen the capacity of local nonprofits through collaboration. They especially invite proposals for projects that will promote community engagement, local voices, and voter participation in the 2025 municipal election. Brooklyn Org will select three proposals for project-based funding, of up to $25,000 per partnership.
Proposals are due April 4th and should include at least two community-based nonprofits organizations partnering together to solve a local need in their neighborhood via direct services, training, base-building, or community-wide activities. Projects should advance racial justice and provide critical resources to BIPOC communities and residents who have been historically disempowered and discriminated against across Brooklyn.
One organization must be identified as the lead and be eligible to receive our grant as either a 501c3 or working under a fiscal sponsor. Lead organizations will be the lead contact for the grant, receive grant monies, and will be responsible for all grant reporting. MOUs between project partners are highly encouraged.
