Working with the School Administration & DOE

While PA/PTAs are self-governing organizations, they are required to work with the school administration and certain DOE offices in a number instances per the CR A-660. Apart from compliance with the regulation, good lines of communication between the PA/PTA and the school administration -- and even teachers -- can be key to running a successful organization.

CR A-660 contains provisions outlining how principals and parent coordinators must support the work of PA/PTAs.
